Focus – on losing it and getting it back
We want to keep our focus preferably 24/7 – but sometimes we lose it.
At the moment I feel like that myself.
Life happens, other things get more important or what we try to focus on is hard so that we might be happy for some distraction.
When that happens we often feel bad about ourselves.
Yes, I feel that way, too. I have the tendency to be hard on myself and dwell in self-pity. My brain creates big drama 🙄
But I also try to remind myself that this is completely normal. No one can focus on one thing all day every day. We also need to pause every once in a while 🤷
What matters is to get back on track.
No matter how often we lose focus I am convinced that we can always come back.
That we can move forward and reach our goals if we do what it takes more often than we don’t do it.
And I also think constant reminders are so helpful to get the focus back.
This is why I write, this is why I draw. To create reminders that it is not too late to get back on track. That it is worth to keep going 🙌
Maybe it is like cleaning or brushing teeth – regular repetition is needed to keep (and reach) a certain level. But we (hopefully) don’t spend the whole day cleaning.
So, no need for drama, let’s just jump on the train again and do the very next tiny step 💪
Biggest cheers!
