Die Gestaltung des Bildes “Seerose” ist sowohl vom Jugendstil als auch von botanischen Zeichnungen inspiriert, umgesetzt in einer minimalistisch anmutenden Art und Weise.

Die ursprüngliche Idee kam beim Lesen von Märchen wie “Die Nixe im Teich” und “Undine” auf. Zu dieser Zeit war ich ganz in den Welten von Nixen und Wassergeistern versunken, es war wundervoll! Mysteriös, ätherisch, ein bisschen gefährlich … nicht von dieser Welt!

Tauche ein in diese Atmosphäre aus Jugendstil, Wissenschaft und Märchen!

Dieses Werk ist handgeschrieben und -gemalt. Die erste Zeile “See” ist mit einem Pinsel geschrieben, die zweite Zeile “rose” mit Spitzfeder. Ein Computer wurde nur genutzt, um das Bild zu digitalisieren und als Fine Art Print verfügbar zu machen.

Die “Seerose“ ist gedruckt auf hochwertigem, strukturierten Hahnemühle Papier, um nicht nur ein tolles visuelles, sondern auch besonderes haptisches Erlebnis zu bieten. So kommt es dem Original besonders nah, denn auch dies ist auf leicht strukturiertem Papier gemalt.

The composition of the piece „Water lily“ is inspired both by Art Nouveau and botanical drawings carried out  in a kind of minimalistic approach.

The initial idea however emerged when reading tales like „The Nixie of the Mill-Pond“ and „Undine“. At that time I was all nixies and water sprites, it was wonderful! Mysterious, etherial, a little dangerous … out of this world!

Dive in and surround yourself with this mixture of Art Nouveau, science and folk tale vibes!

The piece is all written and drawn by hand. For writing I used a brush („See=“ in the first line) and a dip pen with a pointed nib („rose“ in the second line) to create the best possible authentic 19th century vibe. A computer was only used to digitalise it, adjust the colours and make it available as a fine art print.

The Water lily comes printed on high-quality structured Hahnemühle paper to provide you not only a visual but also an enjoyable haptic experience as it is also originally drawn on structured paper.
